SPAU/SPDD Status Icon not showing

When using SPAU/SPDD transaction, objects for adjustment can be seen but there is no Status Icon displayed.

Before, I was able to see a status icon but today when I was asked to do enhancement during SUM Tool execution at 90% the status icons were gone. Is there a setting to see the status icon beside the object?

You are in "Forecast/Display" mode of the SPAU/SPDD.

• Goto AL11 in Directory for Directory Parameter "DIR_PUT"
  (e.g. "..sap/sysid/SUM/abap/")
• Goto subdirectory "log"
• Find file umodstat.dat and open it
• Most likely it will contain only one line with "XXX DISP" in your case
  (whereas XXX is your current or to be upgraded to release and starting at the fourth character it should say WORK or DISP)
• If you need to be in SPAU / SPDD upgrade mode, this file needs to have the value WORK and not DISP
• Check with your basis when, how and why this file got changed and whether it therefore needs to be reverted back from DISP mode to WORK mode. SPAU/SPDD will also be in 'WORK' mode if the file doesnt exist. So be sure to make the correct decision with your Basis team based on your current SPAU/SPDD status.
