Spartacus Smartedit preview, basic edit is not working

Smartedit spartacus is selected and makes the below request automatically and types sends as empty "" therefore it gives 400 error.

"https://localhost:9002/permissionswebservices/v1/permissions/principals/admin/types?permissionNames=create,change,read,remove&types="

Verified the requests with other sites and its been sent as below. Don't know where we can configure types therefore it should be sending types=ContentPage for spartacus.

"https://localhost:9002/permissionswebservices/v1/permissions/principals/admin/types?permissionNames=create,change,read,remove&types=ContentPage"

This might be helpful for you to solve the problem.

1) Make the required changes for setting up smartedit for spartacus following the below links

https://sap.github.io/spartacus-docs/smartEdit-setup-instructions-for-spartacus/

2) When you login in the smartedit using the admin credentials (open the network tab via inspect),

and check it the Spartacus storefront is loading properly without any error. Look for the https://localhost:4200/webApplicationInjector.js request's response. (this should return 200), if not then try to change the WCMS Cockpit Preview URL (Backoffice >> WCMS >> Website >> Chose the strofrom and open WCMS properties).

When the response for the webApplicationInjector.js file is 200, then there will be no problem in loading the spartacus storefront in smartedit.
