Sort not working as expected Solr

Hi,

Hi All, I have an indexproperty called startDate and type is date. I have done the index and able to see it in solr. I have created a sort on startDate field. I can the sorting is working as expected for both asc and desc as well.

Then I have applied a boost rule on the indexproperty of boolean saying that if the value is true show on the top.This is also woking as expected.

But the values after the results are not sorted by startDate.Do I need to configure more??
