Solr sorting with grouping and sort returns inappropriate order

Hello,

I am using Solr Grouping to sort variants so the variant at the higher level on group gets displayed on PLP. If we apply Price Descending Solr Sort operation then inappropriate order of products on PLP is returned from Solr.

Note : Variants within Base Product have different prices. After investigating same it seems like Solr itself returning incorrect results.
