Smartedit - unable to create or edit new CMSLink

Hi everyone is it me or it's not possibile to create new CMSLink from Smartedit?

I can reference existing CMSLink but it doesn't seem possible to create new ones.. I'm on Hybris 1808.

Hi Nicola, We are improving the navigation management and addressing this issue in 1811, upcoming release. We will use nested component strategy, which uses generic editor to manage nodes and entries. Regards, Olga

Hi,

We received complains about this in a couple of projects, so we did some customizations.

The following was done:

• Added generic editor to nav node editor

• Added sync toolbar to nav node perspective

If SAP can support this OOTB in the future that would be great.

I believe this is something product team is working to include in future version.

At this moment, procedure is to create Link in Administration perspective in backoffice then you can refer that component in SmartEdit. At least that's how I am operating.
