Smartedit problems after upgrade to 1905

Hello Experts,

we have upgraded our application from 1808 to 1905.9. The server comes up and is running fine. Unfortunately, there is still an error in smartedit. I can login, select the content catalog and open the cms pages. The site preview loads but then the controls for editing the components don't show up.

In firefox console I see a strange request to /[object Object] fired from vendor_chunk.js which runs into a 404 error:

Any Idea what could be the problem here or how I can track down the error?

Hi, your exception does not mean anything.

you need to switch to smart edit debug mode, as following :

and re-check you console for detailed exceptions.
