Smart Edit Compatibility

Hey Experts !,

Currently our project is using Hybris 6.4 - cmscockpit for WCMS customizations. We plan to upgrade to Hybris 6.7 and found out that cockpits will be de-released from the Hybris 6.7 distribution from Q4 2018 and we have to use SmartEdit for WCMS customizations.

So what all changes are required for all our WCMS items to be Smart Edit compatible ??

Any help will be much appreciated !!!

If you have added funtionality in the actual CMS cockpit, then you would need to move this functionality. But if you only basically added new components , pages and templates and so on, this will work in smartedit. The only thing that you might need to do is to customize the components so that these are editable in smartedit.
