SLT DIMS Compatibility

Hi Team,

Currently we are on SAP LT Replication Server 3.0(DMIS 2018_1_752 SP06) , The successor for this is SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server for SAP S/4HANA 1.0(SAP LTRS) with S/4 HANA foundation 2025. So when we upgrade, it will use a new DMIS 2020.

Our Source ECC systems are with version 2011_1_731 SP21 . So would like to check the compatibility, if we upgrade to DMIS 2020 in LT server, do we need to upgrade our DMIS add-on in Source systems as well? or will the current version 2011_1_731 SP21 is still compatible for DMIS 2020 of LT server.

Dear Customer, 

I'm assuming you would use one of the latest SP version of DMIS 2020. For example DMIS 2020 SP09 or SP10. 

Since DMIS 2020 is equivalent to DMIS 2018, as you can see in note 0002675613 - SLT (DMIS 2010 / DMIS 2011 / DMIS 2018 / DMIS 2020 / DMIS 2025 / S/4HANA) Installation, Corrections and Release Information

Then yes, DMIS 2020 SP09 (equivalent to 0003487355 - Release Information SLT - DMIS 2018 SP13) or DMIS 2020 SP10 (equivalent to 0003657956 - Release Information SLT - DMIS 2018 SP14) are both compatible with source on DMIS 2011 SP21.
