Slow Performance 1808 mysql

Hi all,

I'm i the process of upgrading from hybris version 6.0 to 1808. We use MySql. But for some reason, that i just cannot figure out, hybris is running extremly slow and almost bring my pc to a complete stand still during some operations. I have 32GB Ram and 2.7Ghz Quad core, but normall tasks that takes seconds on 6.0 is taking almost 4 hours to complete on 1808, i.e, content catalog sync, and just general navigation of our storefront and backoffice takes minutes to load pages. Is there some settings that i'm missing? Please i need help.

Hi @Michael - I also have the similar requirement. We have to upgrade hybris from 6.0 to 6.8 and its using MySql 5.6 in PROD.

I have few queries as follows:

1.  When you upgrade hybris from 6.0 to 6.8, whatever the PROD data is there, does our hybris 6.8 support the PROD data (which is supporting hybris 6.0 currently)?
   

2.  How did you manage the data which is there in PROD so that it will support hybris 6.8?
   

Because I am bothered even if we upgrade hyrbis 6.0 to 6.8, our upgraded hybris 6.8 should support the PROD data. If hybris 6.8 doesn’t support the PROD data, then how would I achieve it ?
