Hi,
Can anyone provide details on how to achieve the 'Simulate Sales Order in Commerce Cloud' in Commerce 1905 version CCV2 ? We have 'SAP Cloud Platform Integration' and On-Premise ERP.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Murali
I already got the Simulate Sales Order in Commerce Cloud in 1905.
ERP OnPremise is where the Order is simulated.
Commerce cloud request the simulation.
The main steps are:
1) Validate if WebService SOAP COD_SALESORDER_SIMULATE in ERP onPremise is already activated, in SOAMANAGER transaction.
2) Create a set of data in RFC 'COD_SALESORDER_SIMULATE' which is used by webservice in se37 transaction.
3) In CPI you must publish an developed iflow with scenario Odata (Commerce) to SOAP(Receiver) syncronous.
4) Testing your iflow in Postman
5) Develop the call to this Odata service in Commerce
PS: CPI act as tunnel in the firewalk to get communication bettwen ERP on Premise and Commerce Cloud.
Feel confortable to write if any doubts.
Good luck!!!

Hi Cesar,
Thanks for the answer. I have one more question, I have seen below SAP help doc 'SAP Sales Order Simulation Integration Features'.
In this help doc, SAP mentioned the below statement. Any idea on what is 'Commerce Cloud Extension Pack' ? who should use this ? How it is different from Commerce Cloud V2 1905 ? Actually I have downloaded the 'Commerce Cloud Extension pack' zip file (CXCEP190500P_7-80004551, 73 MB), In the Zip I have seen there are many extensions and one of them is 'sapsalesordersimulation' extension which has outbound integration with JSON , etc, information. I am NOT sure whether we can use this or NOT, just checking any idea ?
"This content is only relevant if you have the latest Commerce Cloud Extension Pack, see Commerce Cloud Extension Pack. The Commerce Cloud Extension Pack can only be used with SAP Commerce Cloud in the Public Cloud."
