Hello SAP,

I have few questions on Simple Content Repository functionality available as standard in SAP Marketing cloud.

As per the help documentation -https://help.sap.com/viewer/ac1eab4c66bc490da7ac2c378c46b0e7/1908.500/en-US/7de38c63de2644138ca2582b...l

It is mentioned that "On production tenant: To use this feature on production tenant, you must enter the configured CDN Domain Name in the Content Repository Configuration app. The usage of CDN ensures that the content access experience is consistent whenever the end-users access content either via Emails or Landing pages"

Can you please confirm if it is mandatory to have the CDN for Production setup to use this functionality?

As far as i know, CDN is applicable if the content is accessed in different geographical location( to make the search fast).

Our client is based on one country and therefore it is not required to have a CDN.

Please confirm.

Secondly - what is the storage space is provided?

Thirdly - how to delete the images from the content repository? i think this functionality is not provided.

Fourth- if i stop using the Content repository in mean time then all the email templates/Forms which uses the images from Content Repository will not able to access?

Hi,

Please find your answers per point:

1. if it is mandatory to have the CDN for Production setup....--> Yes it is mandatory to have CDN for productive usage of Content Repository.

2. what is the storage space is provided? --> I am not 100% sure about this but if i am not mistaken then it is 100GB. May be some one from product team can confirm about this.

3. how to delete the images from the content repository? --> It is currently not possible

4. if i stop using the Content repository in meantime then all the email templates/Forms which use the images from Content Repository will not able to access? -->yes exactly because reference URL for images will become inaccessible.

Thanks

Saurabh

Hi Charley,

is it possible to use Simple Content Repository in PRD tenant and who will provide the CDN that need to be configured?

Or is a external CDN provider required?

Thanks, Carsten
