Service order IW31 components demand release

I am genearating service order using transaction IW31 and after releasing it, automatically demand for components required for service order will get released.

But is there any way with out releasing the service order can we genrate the demand for components listed in service order by itself only.

On the components tab there is a field called Res./Purch. Req. which controls when a reservation/pruchase requisition will be created and released.

Change this value to "immediately" whilst the order is in CRTD status.

However, you will not be able to perform a GI/GR against this item until the order is released (REL). This is because costs cannot be posted onto an order in CRTD status.
