Hi all,
I have the following customer scenarion:
For a lite registration (subscribe news letter) the user gives a consents (privacy statement). After the user subscribed the user should recieve a confirmation email with a link where the user can revoke the consents (privacy statment).
Is this possible?
Kind regards,
Daan

Hey Daan,
you can send out a confirmation letter via the use of Dataflow as mentioned on the Email Subscriptions Help Page.
However, you will still have to provide your own web service utilizing CDCs Rest API for lite accounts to be able to revoke their consent/unsubscribe via a "magic link". Usually, that type of functionality is offered by the CRM systems handling the marketing campaigns as well.
The Lite Preferences Center mentioned by Oleh might be a good alternative flow if you need consent management beyond communications for your lite accounts.
Best,
Sebastian Schuck

Hi Daan Schattenberg,
Please navigate to this documentation link Lite Preferences Center. I think it is exactly what you are looking for.
Here you can find a demo of how it works.
And just keep in mind that CDC supports Hosted Pages, hence it can simplify your implementation.
Hosted Pages allow you to easily create cloud-hosted pages on SAP Customer Data Cloud servers.
