While editing a link component that links to a Product/Category, the product catalog version (to which the Product/Category belongs) is not shown, instead it shows "Select an option" with the drop down.
This seems to work correctly ONLY if there is only one product catalog assigned to the Site. In this case, the catalog is displayed as simple text(i.e. NO selectable drop down as there is only one product catalog). (See screenshot: edit-categorylink-single-catalog.png)But if the Site has more than one Product catalogs, then you get a drop down with available product catalogs while creating the link component. But the product catalog is NOT pre-selected while editing the component. (See screenshot: edit-categorylink-multiple-catalog.png). This makes is very difficult to maintain content as category/product code/name may be reused across catalogs. Anyone who maintains the content will find it impossible to identify the actual product catalog the link is pointing to, without verifying it in the Backoffice. Note: The link component itself is persisted correctly with the product catalog of the Product/Category it has the link to; This can be verified in the Backoffice.

Steps to reproduce:
Make sure there are at least two Product catalogs assigned the CMSSite
Create a new Link Component in Smartedit
Select Product or Category as link type
Select any one of the product catalogs from the drop down
Select a Product/Category
Save
Edit the same component once again

Affected Version(s): 1811_xx
Is there a workaround/solution?
Many thanks
Shan
