Hi all,
is it possible to build a segment of all contacts, that have an opt-out for a specific communication category/subscription?
Same for explicit opt-outs for Permissions?
By default I can only see the contacts that have subscribed or have an Opt-In for the Permissions.

schneidert : Yes, it is possible to do that, we have achieved this by creating a custom view of subscription view and made modifications - such as removing filters and adding the contact person root table.
The upload was successful and we were able to segment for opt outs,
let me know if you need the view and i can share with you.

Hi mitmayank_bluleader,
it would be really great if you can share the view with me. I wrote you a direct message.

Thanks again Mayank, your Custom View works! 🙂
Hi schneidert. I know this could be a simple approach and maybe you tried it, but why excluding the people with the Communication Medium Opt-In attribute for that medium doesn't work for you? Regards,

Hello schneidert , Did you get the solution for this, we cannot use the segmentation for interaction type as Newsletter Unsubscribe, as there is a possibility that there will be a subscription later on, also the target group doesn't give me the contacts. This is not useful.
Did you resolved the issue?

Hi Tobias,
if it is not there in data source , you can't get it anyhow. Then extensibility is the approach to get it on in segmentation model.

Hi sahooprav,
thanks for your fast reply.
Sorry, I forgot to say that I already checked the data source and didn't find the attribute. So I just wanted to make sure if I'm only overseeing something or if it's really not there and if someone has already had the same requirement.

Hi Tobias,
kindly check in the segmentation configuration for all contacts, whether this attribute is available in data source is there or not. If not, try to make it enable using extensibility approach.
