I have a question related to confidentiality of personal data in emails sent from C4C to customers.
is there any difference to the protection the system gives:
Am I correct that if ‘send via Outlook’ is used, then this outlook level of security is leading?
What level of security is within the native email from C4C?
Any clarification would be appreciated!

Hi Leh. If sending an email with Outlook you can use Office Message Encryption to ensure the email is encrypted end-to-end.
Message Encryption - Microsoft 365 Compliance | Microsoft Docs
All you need to do is use the Protect functionality in Outlook.
If using C4C there are encryption options but they are only suitable for sending intra company emails. You need the recipients to install certificates.
SAP Cloud for Customer Enable S/MIME Encryption for Employee Support E-mails | SAP Blogs
So there is no functionality currently in C4C to send emails sent from C4C to external customers that are end-to-end encrypted. We raised this with SAP some time ago, and are currently working with SAP on potential solutions.
