secureportaladdon 1811 to 1905

Hello Community!
- there have been numerous changes to the secureportaladdon items (between 1811 and 1905), that cause problems in our customizations. Mostly the removal of the Salutation - Itemtype, but also wondering about the B2BRegistrationWorkField.

Am I correct in the assumption, that it was dropped because the implied collision to the Title-Type declared in core-itemx.xml?

Is there a replacement, if the need is to distinguish not only between e.g. Mr., Mrs., but also additionally Dr., Prof., etc.?

If not, what is the best way to proceed here?

Redeclare the Type with the same typecode (2048)?
Merge the fields contents to ...Title?
