SAP support aspects of containerized hybris on top of Kubernetes

Hi SAP Experts,

We are building containerized hybris cluster (v6.3) and need to make sure it’s supported by SAP.

Please advise with the below:

• Are there any limitations of using particular container runtime and specific versions?

• Are there any supported docker images or limitations for them?

• Are there any limitations of using particular distributions of Kubernetes and release versions?

• Will SAP be able to review the architecture?

Hi, before we dive into the details of your questions. On which SAP infrastructure are you planning to deploy the containerized hybris? Is it part of a Commerce Cloud 2 deployment or are you looking to deploy it on e.g. SAP Cloud Platform? René

Hello Rene. We use external cloud providers for our infrastructure - Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.

Hello Rene, This one is a description on how to create and run Docker containers. The idea of our question is next step - do you/SAP have any recommendation on how to run it as a production environment inside Kubernetes, with infrastructure/application scaling, with high availability and disaster recovery.
