SAP PI is required to use OAA REST APIs service ??

Hi,

I would like to know..... is it must SAP PI or any middle ware to use OAA for availability or Sourcing or temporary reservations??

My client is using Magento. can he directly interact SAP CAR OAA?

Hi B R,

You can consume the APIs from any application, it is may be a good idea to use some form of routing or PI to prevent lost requests, unless your infrastructure is setup as high availability and you can handle the volume.

Hi BR,

OAA provides these Stock, Temp reservation and Sourcing functionality through Rest API.

If you dont want to use, then you have to build your own API.

When you say directly access OAA, what do you mean here - direct access to OAA tables.
