SAP MC not connected to analytics cloud email metrics

Hello!
I am consulting a client who is using SAP MC to send emails, and I am trying to find out if the default open rate presented in standard reporting is calculated by UNIQUE OPENS or total opens.

I also wanted to know if SAP MC uses any filters to filter out bots and/or false opens from ESPs. I can't find this anywhere. We DO NOT have analytics cloud so this is straight out of the box SAP MC.

THANK YOU! This is helpful. So I can deduce from this that the metric of opens in the standard report is UNIQUE but the metric of clicks is not.
