SAP Marketing segmentation consumer class

Hello Community,

if i create a new segmentation object i can choose a consumer class and a consumer selection class. Therefore i read anything i can find in SAP Help etc. but I couldn't find any concrete information about what exactly this selection results in.

Does anybody know an answer on this issue?

Hi,

While creating a new Segmentation Object , "Consumer Class" as well as "Consumer Selection Class" are optional parameters and should be used for more complex segmentations. They carry additional logic to be executed for custom segmentation object.

Consumer selection class is inhertied from CL_CUAN_PRED_GEN_SEG where as Consumer Class inherits CL_CUAN_CUSTOMER_SEGMENTATION.
