SAP Marketing Release 2020: Filter on Follow-Up Trigger With More Than One Key Field

Hi Everyone,

currently we are facing the following issue:

We are using SAP Marketing Release 2020 on premise with 2 additional segmentation keys. Now we have e.g. a campaign containing a send email action with an email opened trigger. The target group of the initial and follow up actions is based on all three keys. In addition the follow up campaign action contains a live target group also build on all three keys. Regarding the official SAP Documentation under "Filter on Follow-Up Trigger With More Than One Key Field" in this case for the live target group only the interaction contact key is considered.

Is there a solution/adaption existing to filter also on the two other keys?

Dear Dominic,

Yes for the Follow Up email case , it behaves exactly as example

Example 3: Target Group With One Key Field and Filter With Multiple Key Fields , as in this case , based on the initial action , an internal target group will be created only based on the Initial actions Contact key , so it behaves same as explained in Example 3 of

as Contact key will be the only common key in this case as well .

Dear Saravana,

thank you for the quick response. I understand that in this case it behaves like an example described in the documentation.

But still this makes the live target group feature not usable when it comes to this use case which I guess isn't that rare.

Since the information about the additional keys is stored in table CUAND_CE_IA_OREF it would be accessible anyway.
