SAP Marketing On Premise Upgrade dependency on and SAP Commerce OnPremise Version ?

Hi,

Let's say, Marketing OnPremise and Commerce OnPremise systems are implemented in same year and are integrated to run std. Commerce Marketing scenarios such as Offer Recommendation, personalized landing pages etc. Thus on initial implementation, both the systems were on the current version at that time.

Now if either of the system is to be upgraded to a new version - Is it Possible to upgrade it alone ? or it is a must that both the system should exists on same version and hence both must be upgraded ? i.e. Is there a version compatibility prerequisites to be considered ?

As long as they remain stable on the marketing side, nothing should change.

For updates we refer to the release note.
