SAP Marketing on-prem installation

Hi,

Currently we are implementing S/4HANA 1909 and clients wants on-prem SAP Marketing also.

In this case, what we are thinking is to install SAP Marketing on the same S/4HANA database with which we can use the same core data for SAP Marketing also.

Request you to suggest:

1. As we are using the same database, in this case there is no need of any SLT for data replication right?

2. Would it be a separate system or would it be a add-on on S/4HANA system i.e. marketing functionality would be added on the same S/4HANA system as business function?

Hi Ravi,

That's a good idea of installing both on same HDB so no SLT needed.

But note that it will be a seperate systems and none of functionality will be added from any system to another.
