SAP Marketing extend data file load

Hello Community,

we have to upload csv lists of contacts, so we want to use the new application "data file load".

In the old application "import data" we could extend the fields we want to import. For example we want to apload a new corporate account with his website, we add the field WEB_URI to the csv file.

If i want to use the same csv file (based on the SAP template for contact import) in the "data file load" application i cannot select any target attribut from the list for the WEB_URI.

Is there a way to extend the list of target attributes?

Hello robertpiet,

You can simply download the csv file and add the technical name of the custom-field (attribute) and go ahead with import of the data.

In-case you want to see that CF in export template file, you need to configure in Segmentation Configuration >> Profiles >> Seg Object >> Data Source >> Attribute (Visible in Export).

thank you for your fast answer.

I tried your answer in an 1909 and 2020 onPremises system.

In the 2020 onPremises system i could upload the WEB URL field with the new application "data file load", but with version 1909 it was not possible and i had to use the old "import data" application.
