SAP Marketing - disable certain media types

Hi all,

we are using the SAP Marketing CRM Integration to create CRM activities from a SAP Marketing campaign. Therefore we are mapping SAP Marketing media type (Table HPAC_MEDIA_TYPE) to CRM Activity Category.

The standard delivers a lot media types which are currently not used by business. Therefore we would like to deactivate the unused ones. I was not able to find an obvious approach (SPRO entry, SM30, maintenance view) for deactivating unwanted media types.

• Is there an option to deactivate unwanted media types?
• If not, is there an option to hide unwanted media types in the fiori UI?

We are using SAP Marketing 1809 on premise.

Hi,

You should be able to disbale/delete the unused types form SPRO as follow:

Path: SPRO -->SAP Marketing --> General Settings --> Define Media Types
