SAP Marketing Custom field as identifier

Hi,

How do we set custom field we created to be identifier for match and merge logic of Contact merging?

Hi Vuk,

Match and Merge logic is totally based on the Origin ID Configuration.

You can add the Custom Field as Additional Id in config as explained in above links.'

Hi,

You cannot directly use "Custom Field" to perform "Match & Merge" in SAP Marketing.

However, as highlighted by Kunal, you can configure a new ID Origin for your cusotm fields and then you can use a BADI CUAN_IMPORT_IC(Review imported Interaction Contact data) and try to copy custom field value as an additional facet.
