I cannot find proper guide how to start collecting data from a web to SAP Marketing Cloud for example through a form.

Can you direct me in this issue?

Can I collect cookie data as well to SAP Marketing Cloud?

Today in order to get web engagement data from a non SAP Hybris web solution, you have to have that solution post interaction data to yMkt or generate files to be consumed in CPI to then import into yMkt. This is old school. Most if not all marketing platforms have javascript code that is embedded into the website and all engagement data is then tracked automatically in the marketing platform. Agile CRM, which is a low cost CRM system even has this along with Marketo. The Javascript simply makes a call to the marketing platform sending the data over. In the Marketing platform, you would configure what web events you want to track and when the JS is generated, it accounts for this."

The idea made it to status "Planned Long-Term" so improvement should be coming sometime in the future.
