SAP Marketing Cloud - Missing Score Attributes for Products

Dear Experts,

when creating scores in Hybris Marketing on-prem 1709 I had the possibility to choose the product or the product category which was part of an interaction (e.g. the product bought in the commerce online-shop).

Now I'm using SAP Marketing Cloud and I searched for these product-attributes in the score editor but I couldn't find any.

Also in the Application Help (https://help.sap.com/viewer/b88f770e4b7c4ecead5477e7a6c7b8f7/1805.500/en-US/2c5b7d0ac2554b1c829ea9bb09a6ccab.html) these attributes are not mentioned.

Does anyone know where these attributes have gone in the Marketing Cloud??

I can't imagine that it should be no longer possible to create scores which are linked to products and product categories.

Hope someone can help.

Best regards

Tobias

Hi Tobias,

This was announced with the SAP Marketing Cloud 1802 release:
https://help.sap.com/viewer/951a5c272597420abca2b8959b376bbc/1802%20500/en-US/a02856b8af3d441bae07c2...

In the Score Builder, certain attributes are currently unavailable for creating new rules. This is necessary due to constraints of the underlying logical framework.

The following attributes are no longer available:

  • InterestItem of the Interaction
  • TotalNumber of the Interaction
  • Product of the InteractionWithProduct
  • TotalSalesAmount of the InteractionWithProduct
  • InteractionKey of the InteractionWithProduct
  • InteractionKey of the InteractionWithProductCategory
  • ProductCategory of the InteractionWithProductCategory
  • Name of the Interest
  • InteractionKey of the Interest

For a list of available attributes, see Score Attributes.

tim.nusch any workaround?

Hi Theo,

thanks for the fast answer.

So "currently" means they are not removed permanently? Hope to get them back soon.

Hi Tobias,

I have also quickly checked with product development. Yes, unfortunately it was necessary to remove these attributes because of the underlying migration from HANA Rules Framework to Cloud Platform Business Rules.

Currently the attributes which are associated to interactions (such as the InteractionProduct) are therefore temporary unavailable but not permanently.

Best regards,

Tim
