Hello Experts,

is it possible to delete target groups?

Or is it just possible to set a status?

Dear Carolin,

1. You can DISCARD the Target Group to deactivate it's usages anymore.
2. To delete the TG, you have to use Marketing Jobs to 1st FLAG and then Delete the Flagged TGs.
3. Jobs "Target Groups: Flag Instances for Deletion" and "Target Groups: Delete Flagged Instances".

Hi Caro,

as Bradley said, after closing or discarding the target groups you have to use the two application jobs "Target Groups: Flag Instances for Deletion" and "Target Groups: Delete Flagged Instances".

Hi Caro,

Within the Target Group app, you can 'Discard' Target Groups if they have not been released. If they have been released, you can set the status as 'Closed'. So Discarded and Closed target groups don't appear within the tables, you will need to create a marketing application job that periodically removes any target group with that status.
