SAP marketing cloud intgeration with Facebook

Hello experts,

I hope you're all doing well and safe,

The integration between SAP Mkt and Facebook is running well, i receive the posts, comments, intereactions....

but i have an issue with Contacts, I can't receive the profil of personnes who comments or likes or interact in SAP mkt

Can someone help with that please ?

Hey Soufiane,

I forgot that unfortunately we're not able to see the incoming payload for the API_MKT_INTERACTION_SRV... For some other Services you can see the "Data"-tab in the import monitor beside the "Messages".

So I think you have to check the payload on CPI-side to analyze further.

Please allow me to add one information. App 'sentiment engagement' is just about to be depricated and will no long be available as per the upcoming release. This is explained here.

In my system I am not able to get profiles either and I believe this is controled by facebook. At least this was the answer I got from SAP when I opened a ticket about this. We only get anonymous interaction contacts for social posting interactions.

Hi s_chaibisoufiane39,

please check the Inbound Marketing Permissions in Customizing (in French open the app: Gestion de Votre Solution > Configurer votre solution > Contacts et Profils > 4. Consentements marketing entrants) if there is a restriction for Communication Medium Facebook and any countries.

Here you can determine which of the incoming data is stored or if is has to be discarded. For getting also the contacts displayed you have to set the Storage of Inbound Data to "No Restriction" (FR: Stockage des données reçues: Aucune restriction () ) Of course please check if this is GDPR compliant!.

So for me that would be the first place to have a look at.

Just an additional information: To make it easier for others to help, set the system for the screenshots to English. Therefore you only have to add the parameter sap-language=EN in the URL after /ui. So that it looks like https://my123456.s4hana.ondemand.com/ui?sap-language=EN

for the two countries the configuration looks good and it should work.

Did you check the incoming (SOCIAL_POSTING) interactions? Do you have a payload example of an incoming message from your Import Monitor App?

where do you see the interactions then? How does it look like? Do you get anonymous contacts instead? Do you have a screenshot for a better understanding what's happening?
