SAP Marketing Cloud - How is the behavior of the two triggers "Click Trough" and "Email Opened"

Hello experts,

we wondered how the two triggers "Email Opened" and "Click Trough" behave.

If a link was clicked in an email, does that mean that the contact must have opened the email? Does this contact get an interaction for the Click Trough and also for the Email opend? Or are these two triggers considered completely independently of each other? Say the contacts who clicked on a link are not automatically with the people who have opened the email?

as you correctly guess, you cannot get 'click through' without opening the email.

Yes, from what I understand, there would be two interactions against the contact (one 'opened email and the other 'click through').
