SAP Marketing Cloud: Hide Standard Fields

Is it possible to hide specific contact fields not only in the segmentation/export but basically "everywhere"? Out issue is for example that we have different expectations on the industry fields than the standard has. Therefore, we want to create own custom industry fields. In order not to have confusion about which fields are "ours" we would like to fully hide the standard ones...

Hey kunalkumar.bansal,

nice try. In some cases this may be useful. However, when for example selecting the columns in the "Browse Contact Data" app, the adapt UI function is not available (column selection in popup). I guess it will not be possible to remove those fields everywhere...

Probably I will name the custom fields uniquely so we can differ...

Hi Christian,

As far as I know , I don't think that is possible as this can be done only if this attribute is removed from the database completely as only removing from database can completely remove from everywhere as not only segmentation , even different API's use these attributes.
