Hello Community,
i have read in the "What's new" for SAP Marketing Cloud 1905, that SAP will remove the functionality to create and push a Google Ads campaign from SAP Marketing Cloud.
What is the reason for this plan? Will there be an alternative for this use case?
Kind regards,
Robert

Hi Robert, thanks for reaching out!
Most of our customers are using SAP Marketing Cloud Google Ads integration for two use cases:
Currently, for use case No.2, a Search Network Only Google Ads campaign must be created on Google side together with the target group transfer, which means fields such as ‘Daily Budget’, ‘Max CPC Bid’, ‘Ad Group Name’and ‘Keywords’need to be filled in. Customers do not want this overhead, do not want to be forced to create a campaign in Google for transferring an SAP Marketing target group.
In future releases, we plan to obsolete the creation functionality completely, and a target group can be transferred into Google without the overhead of creating a campaign on Google side.
Please let us know if you are productively using the functionality of ‘creating and push a Search Network Only Google Ads campaign from SAP Marketing Cloud’.
