SAP Marketing Cloud - Department and function update

How can I manually update the department and function of a contact (without file upload)?

Hi Alicia,

If not Data file load , then we can only use API to update the Department and Function for the Contacts.

You can use the API API_MKT_CONTACT_SRV for this purpose.

Additionally, do you know how to add a 5th lead stage? For the moment, I'm limitated to 4 stages but we would like to add a 5th stage.

Hi Everyone,

In order to solve the initial issue, we decided to implement the custom logic "Update Interaction Contact" (context: Marketing: Contact & corporate account).

We create therefore 2 custom fields "Functions" and "Department" and thank to those 2 fields and the BAdi, the standard fields are updated automatically. This is working fine in SAP Marketing Cloud.

However, the integration with SAP C4C for those 2 fields is not working anymore. It seems that the custom logic is "blocking" the standard integration.

Any idea of the reason and how to solve it?

We have an Influence request which has been Acknowledged already for more Lead Stages, Please do vote the same .
