SAP Marketing Cloud: Define source system IDs and source system types

We are trying to set the SOURCE_SYSTEM_ID and SOURCE_SYSTEM_TYPE for the permissions that we integrate via SCPI and import via .csv files.

However, we could not find out which values can be set for those two fields. And if there is any chance to define own SOURCE_SYSTEM_ID and SOURCE_SYSTEM_TYPE. We tried to just use an own text but it seems like it is ignored when the opt-in or opt-out interaction is created. The fields are empty then. So I suppose only specific values are possible or you need to customize them somewhere.

I checked the "Manage Your Solution" app for a specific customizing, checked if contact origins work and checked if it is somehow connected with the communication systems defined. None of those approaches helped me.

I would be happy if you could provide information/link about the available values and how to create own/custom IDs and types?

Dear Christian,

I checked the design and cant find any restrictions for those attributes and permission should be updated with those fields as well , But I am not sure about your use case with those fields , If you are trying to use it in segmentation , I would recommend you to vote for the Improvement request for those attributes
