Hello Experts,

One question for Product feasibility. I have a contact person as Sales Representative. The same person is assigned to multiple accounts as sales representative.

In marketing cloud, is it possible to assign the same contact to multiple accounts as sales representative function? Is this functionality supported

Need an urgent answer please!!

Hi Mayank,

Untill last release it was not possible to associate same Contact person to 2 different B2B account. (May be some one from SAP can also confirm about the same.)

However, you can assign same employee of your organisation as Account team for multiple accounts.

Thanks

Hi Mayank,

1 Contact to multiple accounts is not currently possibe with atleast 1905 release. For account team replication, we don't have standard Iflow replicate the sales employees of account to Marketing. However, the communication arrangement from C4C exists and can be leveraged to develop a custom iflow to push this information to yMKT.

Thanks

Hi,

A 1-n Contact to Account assignment isn't yet possible as far as I know,

However, would a Sales Rep be considered a "Contact" of an account, or rather someone in the "Account Team" for that account? In the Account Team, it is possible to have the same employee responsible for multiple accounts.

Hi vervinckt.joyca : Thanks for your response.

Sorry but i didnt understand how can we get the employee to marketing system. If we replicate the employee, they will be replicated as contacts in the system? Please confirm if this is correct? otherwise what is the other way i an replicate the employees in the system? if we replicate the employee as contact person, then we cant assign the same to multiple accounts.

Can you please shed more light on this please?

Hi,

I don't know about the possibilities to replicate employees,

But what I mean by it is the first step you do when you make a User for SAP Marketing Cloud:

- create employee

- create business user

- assign business role

- upload them in SAP Cloud Identity Authentication

And this employee object, can be used in the "Account Team" tab of an account and can be 1-n.

But I don't know if it fits your specific case or not. Is this "sales rep" you are talking about a person from your own company (your own employee), or a person from your customer's company (a contact in the account of that customer)?

If they really need to be Contacts, then there's an idea on Influence Portal for this as well, with 30 votes, which got accepted in September 2018, so I guess this might be coming in one of the next releases too. https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/212991

Hi vervinckt.joyca : Thanks. I thought of creating the employee in the system. the employee will be from own company and not from the customers company, so therefore it should be ideally an employee. I am looking for an integration for the employee replication for this scenario and then assign those employee to the accounts using interface.

I am not sure if this is currently supported? Can anyone from SAP suggest?
