SAP Marketing Cloud - Can not assign a business object to a custom segmentation object / profile

Hello all,

i have created a custom business object. Now i want to assign it to my custom segmentation profile.

When i am in the App "Assign to segmentation" i want to select my custom segmentation object segmentation-object.png. But just the standard segmentation obejcts are available segmentation-object-help.png.

I can not see my custom objects? Can anybody help me with this issue?

Hi Caro,

I had the same issue during my last customer project.

For this I created a ticket and received following feedback from the support colleagues:

"From the assignment application we don't support assignment of CF, CBO or CV to custom segmentation objects.

Alternatively you can assign to standard segmentation object ( you can delete the assignment if you don't need it later). The data source which got created as part of the assignment you can assign to custom segmentation object in segmentation configuration application."
