We have set up the communication arrangement for email SAP_COM_0040 already a while ago. At this time we only had the global marketing area CXXGLOBAL and I set up the sender profile for this marketing area:

Now we have also a marketing area DE and I set up the sender profile for that as well since the global one can't be used for marketing area DE:

I kept the same value for the provider (sapMS), but I changed the profile ID from "MSML" as it is defined for the global sender profile to "DE". Sending test emails with the DE sender profile works.
However, now I noticed that for the communication arrangement SAP_COM_0040 some additional properties are defined:

Can you please tell me the intention of those additional parameters? For me it seems like the arrangement was explicitly set up for the global marketing area, however, it should also work for marketing area DE. Both marketing areas should use the same provider. We don't want want to have a separation in regards to email cost per marketing area.
Unfortunatelly, I did not any detailed information on those properties.
Best regards
Christian
Request clarification before answering.
Meanwhile, I created some ticket and got a response from SAP:
"We would like to inform you that additional properties are filled during the default sender profile creation. This information is for reference and this information is not retrieved while sending the emails.
We could see you have created another send profile with the marketing Area DE and you can use one communication arrangement for multiple combinations of sender profile and marketing area. The same communication arrangement works for the global marketing area as well as for the marketing area DE."
Best regards
Christian

Hi Christian,
The additional properties of the communication arrangement are used to generate the initial sender profile in the Sender Profiles app. Additional sender profiles can be created directly in the Sender Profiles app by copying an existing one and changing the settings as required. It enables to have different sender, unsubscribe, reply-to, etc per marketing area and and yet use the same account as configured in the communication arrangement.
I hope that clarifies.
