SAP Marketing. Check of data source alias finished with errors.

Hi, colleagues!

System is SAP Marketing 1809 onprem.

Step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce my issue:

Step 1: Go to Segmentation Configuration

Step 2: Go to Data Sources

Step 3: Actions ---> Check Data Source Alias

As result system show the message "Check of data source alias _SAP_CF_SAP_CE_INTERACTIONS finished with errors."

Error is "Attribute XXXX is missing in App."

BUT all attributes are already exist in App, in tables, in DB.

In App

In table GSEG_OT_DS_AT - Segmentation Object Data source Attributes

This problems actual for 3 different data source.

How can I solve this problem?

I suggest creating a support ticket to SAP Support in this case so that they can access to your system and check the issue directly

Hi m.shakalei ,

Could you please try the following:

1) Navgiate to "Add custom fields to segmentation" application in SAP Marketing UI.

2) Click on "+" icon

3) Select relevant business context (for example. Marketing: Contact and Corporate Account)

4) Select desired segmentation object/profile

5) Make the required custom fields visible for segmentation by switching "No" to "Yes".

6) Save your changes.

I don't have an access to our Marketing system at the moment but steps are like above more or less.

Thank you for your response. But it doesn't work. Because the fields have already been exist in "Segmentation Configuration" and "Add custom fields to segmentation" applications. And I can even use them in "Segmentation" app.

I tried to update the assignment of fields. But it didn't help.
