SAP ECC - OAuth 2.0 Client credentials

Hi All,

We have created an ODATA service in SAP which is going to be consumed by non-SAP systems. We have a requirement to use OAUTH 2.0 client credentials grant type. In this case, the authorization server is outside of AS ABAP and the resource server is SAP.

On receiving the token, we want to authenticate the request in SAP using the access token and client ID. We implemented a note to enable client credentials grant type during creation of OAUTH clients using OA2C_CONFIG.

We are looking for some options where SAP will be able to successfully authenticate and authorize the request and forward to the ODATA API.

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.
