SAP Customer Data Cloud Back and Restore

Hi All ,

I wanted to check backup and restore option in SAP customer Data cloud. are there option to backup CDC or one/more of the sites? And is it possible to restore?

Good day.

As you are aware, there is no out-of-the-box functionality in CDC for Backup or Restore. But you can consider the following options for taking backup.

1. Site Policies and Email Templates Backup:

   • You can back up all site policies and email templates using the accounts.getPolicies API.

2. User Data Export:

   • You can periodically export user data using CDC's Data Access API or Bulk Data Extracts to create backups.
   • The exported data can be securely stored and used for restoration if required.

Hi @Rvanjari I'm not aware of the offline backup and restore tools in CDC, but you may check out some online tools like "Copy Configuration" to backup your configurations online in CDC. 

Further more, our CDC experts created  "sap-customer-data-cloud-toolkit", which supports more features like import/export of email/sms templates and Copy Configuration Extended.
