Hi
We want to install SAP Customer CheckOut on a Windows Server 2016, in which we would have four sessions that connect by remote to execute the Customer Chekout in each session (independent).
We don´t see references to this type of installation can be made, and in the Operating Systems available for the SAP Customer Checkout we only see Windows 7, 8 and 10
This type of installation we want to do, is it viable?
Is Windows Server 2016 supported for the product?
We have installed to test on Windows Server 2012 and it works.

Juan Ramon Dios

Hello Juan,
Officially, the SAP Customer Checkout supports the following operating systems:
You can find further information in the Product Availability Matrix at http://service.sap.com/sap/support/pam
Regarding the remote access, please refer to KBA ##2772476 How to enable the remote access to CCO from a remote machine.
Note: SAP does not recommend to use the remote access on a productive environment, it is only recommended for demo/test environment.
Best regards,
Anderson Schmitt

Hello Juan,
best practice on premises: If the SAP Server ist already installed on customer side than I would prefer a VPN connection to the same network
best practice on demand: Public cloud server (e.g. cloud control center) or private server infrastructure. I would recommend a separate subdomain for your customer. Example would be: monitor.[NameOfTheCustomer].de. In addition an official SSL certificate is required.
Best regards
Tobias

Hello
Thanks for your reply
In our case we are going to work with SAP Business One.
When the SAP server is in a different location from the PC with CCO, what would be the most correct way to work in a productive environment?
A computer with Windows 10 (for example) connected by VPN to the same network as the SAP server?
Best regards
