Is it possible to make the day-end-closing which takes place after midnight (12:00 am) take the date of the previous day since the shift is an extension of the previous day?

Hello Amlood,
Day-end-closing takes the current date and time of the system. It is not possible to use the previous days date.
However we support something called "Period End Closing", there you some more flexibility to define your time period.Its not exactly like day end closing though.
This feature was developed in Release 2.0 FP04. In slide 20, of the below presentation you will find basic information to start with
