SAP CUSTOMER CHECKOUT CUSTOMER POLE DISPLAY ISSUE-NOT WORKING

Dear All,

In SAP CUSTOMER CHECKOUT Customer Pole Display (EXT_LINE_DISPLAY) Plugin is working ,

But the price details are not reflecting in Customer pole display.

The Connection to the Pole display is working fine.

The details showing in the Left top of the screen .Please find the attachment

Hello Deepak,

If the data is not being transferred to the Line Display it is possible that this display is not supported by SAP Customer Checkout as standard. Kindly see the following SAP Note for more information on supported Line Displays - https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2727384.

Hi Deepak,

What is your Customer Pole display type/model? If it is VFD display then EXT_LINE_DISPLAY of no use! Extended Line display is for LCD displays only.

If you have VFD line display, you should install the relevant J(ava)POS drivers (aka jar files) and configure.

I tried this thing but in the Settings options there is only one device showing with name (Device 1) And Its already Connect but no data is reflecting in the Customer Pole Display.

I tested that device with command Prompt its getting Response from system,

for Customer Checkout Pole display not getting any response.

What can i do for this issue.

Hi Deepak,

if you right click on the small display in the top left corner you can find settings, on which display the line display should be displayed etc. pp. do not forget to press save settings before you close the window 😉
