SAP CRM Number Range Buffering

Hi guys,

I have a question regarding the number range buffering in SAP CRM.

I have created a new subobject in number range object crm_sales. This object contains the subobject for our
order number creation (lets call it Z1). Here I created another one for a new process type in
sales context (Z2).

In my understanding, the buffer reads the next 1000 numbers, when the previous 1000 numbers are taken.
Does this mean, that every subobject gets its next 1000 numbers (Z1 and Z2) even if just one of the objects needs them, because the previous numbers are used (Z1)?

I am not sure that I understood this topic 100%
