SAP CRM CHARACTERISTICS DRIVEN PRICING

Hi Experts,

I have setup the PME in SAP CRM and using Price key(VARCOND) and variant condition to price based on the characteristics chosen in the provider order.I have a requirement where we have multiple characteristics which should be combined to pull up the respective condition record .

Example:

We maintain a base price at the product(service) level in SAP CRM and along with that we have Characteristics A and B when i create price key AB i can assign it to a variant condition and maintain condition records accordingly.this is working fine.

Now we have plenty more characteristics like C and D, E and F, G and H and we need to have separate condition records for each one of them like Price Key CD=5%,Price Key EF=$10,Price Key GH=3%.

When i creating more than one Price keys i am facing 3 issues

a)In PME simulation and order creation the price do not get checked automatically when choosing the characteristics.

b)The order config data shows error"Item 10: The configuration is inconsistent"

c) the Only one Pricing key value is getting activated in Pricing details tab another one is deactivated automatically as it SAP standardr setting

Is there a way we can have more than one Pricing variant condition in th order?

Background info:

we get these characteristics from external system in order API which we use to create provider order in SAP CRM.

ANother way of achieving it would be to map the incoming order api payload as variable characteristics to Custom fields in SAP CRM at Master data level to dynamically derive condition records,provided we have already have conditions available for them based on the characteristics as custom fields LIke C and D e.t.c.however it will require custom coding which i am not advising to do.
