SAP Contact Centre - CDT Client version 7.0.10.0 - issues with auto answer

We have auto answer via the keyboard ENTER key disabled. In the contact settings of the user template, this feature is not checked. However when a call arrives, the space bar can answer the call.

Is there a setting anywhere else that can influence why the space bar answers a call?

Hi Kevin,

The space bar functionality comes from operating system and there no way to prevent it from the CCtr software. Basically what happens is that when call comes in, the focus of OS is moved to IE window and 1st item OS focuses to is answer button. Then space bar acts like a action button.

CDT settings that might have an influence to the functionality:
- Phone tab - Automatic on Top
- Phone tab - Automatic Focus

Naturally disabling those are affecting to other functionality. My suggestion is to play around and discuss with the business what would be the best combination for them.
