Hellow everyone , I'm newbie in SAP Commerce Cloud and Apache SOLR . Please let me know if you couldhelp me because I'm looking for the best approach and studying by myself .
I already implemented some SAP Commerce Cloud x Apache SOLR scenarios with successfull :
1 - Using Apache SOLR binaries inside SAP Commerce Cloud
2 - Using Apache SOLR downloaded at apache.org using it in the same SAP Commerce Cloud VM Instance and executing "antconfigureSolrServer -DsolrServerPath = [solr installation path]" importing libraries to Apache SOLR
3- GettingApache SOLR binaries inside SAP Commerce Cloud and executing in another VM Instance configuring the correct endpoint ip address inside Hybris backoffice .
The doubt is ....
How implement Apache SOLR (from scracth) after download binaries at apache.org and installing in another VM Instance without Hybris (*.jars) libraries and estabilishing a correct communication with SAP Commerce Cloud? I believe that Apache SOLR needs Hybris libraries to work perfectly...Need I get the Hybris *jars from VM Instance 1 and put it manually in VM 2 SOLR Instance ? ....Or my concern is wrong ? Aren't there *.jars dependencies between SAP Commerce and Apache SOLR ?
