SAP Commerce Cloud AUTH authorizationserver/oauth/token giving 500 (Internal server error)

Problem statement

For SAP Commerce Cloud Auth /rest/v2/{baseSiteId}//authorizationserver/oauth/token API is giving 500 error

Details:

I am trying to generate access/refresh token from /rest/v2/{baseSiteId}//authorizationserver/oauth/token and I am getting

{ "error": "server_error", "error_description": "Found 2 results for the given query" } with a 500 statuscode

When I checked in the backoffice I could only find one token for this specific client. So could you help us understand why this issue is arising and how can we avoid it
